Continuous price movement

Asset prices update constantly while you play. Each asset follows its own behaviour model, influenced by:

• Market activity — Small, natural fluctuations occur at all times, mirroring real financial markets.
• Volatility — Some assets move steadily, others swing more sharply.
• Sector behaviour — Technology tends to move fastest, commodities moderately, and foreign exchange more slowly.
• Market conditions — Calm, sideways, volatile, euphoric, or panicked states affect the speed and intensity of price changes.
• News events — Major stories can temporarily push prices up or down, creating short‑term trends.

Offline drift (the market never stops)

Closing the game does not freeze the world. Prices continue to evolve in real time while you are away.

When you return:

• Prices will have drifted, sometimes subtly, sometimes noticeably.
• Short absences may cause small movements.
• Longer breaks may causemore pronounced shifts.
• This drift introduces risk, your positions remain exposed even when you’re offline.

Volatility dampening

Price history is smoothed to maintain readability, but it still reflects real market behaviour. You may see:

Prices move while you are away

When you load your save, prices will have changed in real time. The Nexus Exchange simulates a living financial environment: prices move naturally during play and continue to drift during downtime. Most movement is smooth, but occasional spikes add tension, realism, and immersion.
